He holds a PhD degree from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and received it with distinction in 2006. Since 2002, Dr. Conde has published over 25 publications including various book chapters. He enjoys a solid industrial experience and an impressive scientific reputation. He has worked in the communication systems area and contributed to numerous business starts in the value added telecommunications services as well as in the software engineering domain.

He is the founder and inventor of the core technology behind PersonalCare Systems™. This technology was partly developed during Conde’ PhD thesis, and has been awarded the prestigious Prize of the City of Lausanne 2007 in recognition of this best thesis award for ”his high-level and innovative work on new learning methods to approximate behavioural and cognitive models for Autonomous Virtual Agents”.

He was a senior researcher at EPFL before starting PersonalCare Systems™.

Consultant for various multinational companies, banks, international organizations and NGOs..

Dr. Conde is the founder of PersonalCare Systems™ and today serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

In 2014, Dr. Toni Conde has been appointed Independent ICT for eHealth expert. HORIZON 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). HORIZON 2020 is the financial instrument implementing the Innovation Union, a Europe 2020 flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness.

In 2015, recipient of the start-up Award : Concours de création d’entreprise « Graines de Boss » and Prize of Julius Bär Bank. Is an enthusing initiative to identify and support young companies with potential. It is clever and effective, bringing people together to promote fascinating projects.


He has several years of teaching experience in areas of computer science and E-business. During 1988-2001, Senior lecturer at The University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO) in Computer and Communications Sciences. Nominated by IEEE Senior member in 1998, Computer Society. Dr. Conde is lecturer at EPFL – Master in Management, Technology and Entrepreneurship.

Editorial Board member of CAVW : The Journal of Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds, from 2010 to 2015.
